3 Natural Ways to Promote Focus

Stress can disrupt many of the body systems.  Our bodies need a break, In my practice by the time people get to me, they are exhausted and totally worn out and may even find themselves with chronic issues that is being exacerbated by their lifestyle and they feel way more symptoms than just focus issues.

For passionate women (like entrepreneurs and world changers) focus and a clear head is a must!

For me personally, one of the things that I struggled with was focus and foggy thinking.  It was the beginning of the signs that later lead to a full collapse (don’t feel bad for me, I feel awesome now)

I felt like I was repeating myself a lot. In fact my daughter said, ‘you asked me that three times already’ this was ‘check engine’ light for me among others see this blog) that I ignored.

I wanted to share a few tips that can help get you started to help promote focus

Rosemary (Live plant or Essential Oil): ‘Rosemary for Remembrance’ we have all had that quote.  Rosemary can help support focus and memory as well.   I honestly prefer the live plant itself and I just over and rub the tip of the plant and inhale! (my favorite form of aromatherapy, to be honest, no essential oils needed).

Nap: Yes I said nap. Did you know that a 20-30 minute nap can not only support focus but help support your working memory. I feel that on days I do a lot of computer work, a nap really helps me to reset and help me to feel refreshed and better focused.  I like to play soft nature sounds and even if I don’t ‘nap’ just a little rest is nice.

Bergamot Essential Oil: This is another essential oil that I use. I love it to uplift the spirits (great for winter use- to bring in more sunshine) and help support focus and concentration. It’s a great citrus oil to know (pro tip keep this essential oil in the refrigerator for longer life)
