
Radical honesty here, I have been juggling the divorce, a move, my business, wildlife rehab and a PhD program. It is hard to find balance, and when you are struggling a little emotionally, sometimes you need to pull into your ‘turtle’ shell and just be. I have been on an emotional roller coaster, and I needed self-care. So that is what I did. I decided to take some self-love time and focus on myself right now. I can’t support others if I can’t refill my cup. Sometimes you need to take some time off for self-love. That is what I did.

Finding a balance can be difficult. So, I want to share with you some simple tips to get you started. One thing that has helped me is my morning ritual (click here to join the discussion). Every morning I smudge, draw a Wild Animal Unknown card, sing my favorite prayer. Beyond that, I choose to write down three I am and statements and three grateful for statements.

It may sound cliché, but starting your day off with something like that can help set the rest of the day for success. As a law of attraction practitioner, I need to stay in a good vibration, and that can be hard when you are busy. Using a daily mantra can help!
